Two doses of HPV vaccine for all age groups
The Health Council advises that two doses of vaccine be given to all age groups when vaccinating against the human papillomavirus (HPV). This means a reduction from 3 to 2 doses for the ‘15 and older’ age group. There will be no change to the number of doses received by younger children. The Council has informed the State Secretary of Health, Welfare and Sport accordingly in an advisory report.
