When applied correctly, spray polyurethane foam is not harmful to residents

When spray polyurethane foam (SPF) home insulation is installed correctly, residents are unlikely to experience any associated adverse health effects as their exposure to hazardous substances will remain within safety limits. In the Health Council’s view, insulation companies must provide guarantees to residents that they operate safely and in compliance with the guidelines.
