Prof. Ramón Lindauer has been vice chair of the Health Council since 1 January 2026.

Ramón Lindauer studied medicine and philosophy and was appointed Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Amsterdam UMC in 2006. He combines this professorship with clinical practice at Levvel, academic center for child and adolescent psychiatry in Amsterdam. He also holds various administrative positions, such as the presidency of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the Dutch Association for Psychiatry. In addition to his position as vice chair of the Health Council, he continues to teach and conduct scientific research in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, in particular trauma and stressor related disorders in children and adolescents.
