The Health Council of the Netherlands has published a draft evaluation report on the health hazards for Poorly Soluble Low Toxicity (PSLT) dust, which is prepared by the Dutch Expert Committee on Occupational Safety (DECOS) in collaboration with the Nordic Expert Group for Criteria Documentation on the Health Risks of Chemicals (NEG). When finalised, this report can be used by the Ministry of Social Affairs for setting a legal occupational exposure limit. The Health Council has published a draft report to provide interested parties the opportunity to comment on it.
The draft has been sent to the Working Conditions Committee of the Social Economic Council of the Netherlands, and to experts of employers’ organisations and trade unions. Other interested parties or persons are also invited to comment.
