Methyl methacrylate - Health-based recommended occupational exposure limit

Inhalation of methyl methacrylate can irritate the nose. Irritation and other possible adverse health effects will be prevented if the concentration of the compound in the workplace air stays below 160 mg/m3 (8-hour TWA). This is written in an advisory report of the Health Council, which today is presented to the State Secretary of Social Affairs and Employment.
