The Standing Committees
An advisory report is usually prepared in a multidisciplinary committee and only becomes final after it has been reviewed in the Standing Committee on Health Care and/or the Standing Committee on Public Health.
The Standing Committees review the main points of draft advisory reports. This involves consistency with other advisory reports, grade of evidence, and compatibility with relevant developments in the field. Standing Committees also discuss what is necessary for a successful follow-up of advisory reports. After it has been reviewed the advisory report is presented to one or more ministers with a letter of presentation by the President or Vice President of the Health Council.
